Hi Jarrod,

I'm not 100% certain, but I don't think this is something that can be done
just with CSS. On the other hand, it sounds like the perfect opportunity for
some JavaScript - it's adding an enhancement to the site, rather than a
necessary function that people without JS enabled will find a problem to be
without.

If you haven't seen it already, take a look at
http://www.onlinetools.org/articles/unobtrusivejavascript/ for some really
good tips on how to write JS that enhances the usability fo your site
without getting in the way of the basic functions.
