I develop for old browsers because it doesn't take any extra effort and I'll take every visitor I can get. If I mark up my content with semantic markup and good source order, which I do anyway because it benefits everyone, and just hide styles from the really old browsers, they will get usable pages. I don't know anything about the site you provided stats for, but keep in mind that it may not be getting any hits from older browsers because right now it's not accessible to them. Designing only for the newest browsers can be a self-fulfilling prophecy. Zoe -- Zoe M.
