I have been at this for weeks

trying to get the site at
http://www.filmworkshop.com/newsite/content/view/15/33/
the top nav bar is the one in question
to create the dropdowns to work with internet explorer 6 on a PC,
they are working well in all other browsers

The problem I am having isnt with .htc files not loading as when I
last posted to this email list
you can see a working version of a dropdown from stylin with css book
on server at
http://www.filmworkshop.com/dropdown/chapter_7/fig7.28.1.htm

I have tried moving files around, have checked all linked files, have
copied the css code as is on this working dropdown example (changing
classes on div to reflect that coming out from the database running
the newsite folder)

My suspicion is that this is being caused by other ids and classes
being attached to the menu items and unordered list items.
Am I right and if so why is firefox perfectly happy to display the
menu as it should be an internet explorer ignoring the parts to do
with the drop down

As I see it I have the .htc behaviour working and so internet
explorer should be responding like all other browsers

In fact I am having similar problems with classes in Safari at
another page without dropdowns

the top nav bar is the one in question
