a.p. boxes that have a right:value set seem to cause scrollbars in IE7b2preview. Funny thing is that overflow:hidden on this box stops the bug; that would be #motto in your case. There is no need to fix this bug currently, as I cannot believe this bug will make it till IE7final. Many sites, visited with IE7b2, show those scrollbars.
