Greetings All!

On point 1: Now why didn't I think of that! :)
On point 2: I agree with Felix and David here however, the client wants 
the site to be optimized for 1024x768 and demanded the width I am using 
as the min width.
On point 3: I agree, maybe bold will help? Not sure though.
