Thanks to all that chimed in with some good suggestions and interesting reading lists. I will change all of my text size properties to ems and experiment from there. I will also try swapping in a absolute positioning scheme instead of the floats I have now for the gallery pages navigation arrows. See www.rubybluestudio.com
As to the PC side of things. I did download the ClearType Tuner extension and did some experimenting. The type in html pages looks better now but still no where as clean and rich as the rendering on my Mac though. I realize that this list is about css and not the Windows-Mac debate. However I find the Windows PC type rendering to look crummy on a lot of sites, not just mine. I have noticed this on other PC machines so its not just me. The out-the-box side by side comparison of html text quality between Macs and PC's was quite the revelation. </nuff said> Max Maxwell Balmain [EMAIL PROTECTED] ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d IE7b2 testing hub -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/?page=IE7 List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
