I have used the 'hasLayout'[1] trigger below:

@media screen {
* html #contentcontainer {height: 0;}
}

to help IE6 display content that disappears in a layout containing a wide
data table. The table is contained in a series of 3 nested divs:

#contentcontainer {position: relative; margin: 0 0 0 165px;}
#contentinnercontainer {width: 99.5%;}
#maincontentfull {margin-right: 0;  padding: 35px 50px 10px 35px;}

The 'hasLayout' trigger works well, except the content of the
contentcontainer div is pushed down the page about 275px

Any thoughts about why that's happening or what can be done about it? I've
set a negative top margin for IE to pull it up to the correct location.
This works ok in IE6 but I'm concerned it may mess things up in IE5x or
elsewhere. Would like a better solution if anyone knows a way.

Thanks
David
