A couple of solutions... Adding a permanent restriction... #sidebar {overflow-x: hidden;} ...will keep the sidebar in place in IE by hiding the overshooting part of any oversized content - caused by font-resizing or otherwise, instead of expanding the container. Be aware of negative side-effects by hiding "too much". Adding... ...in otherwise unbreakable text-lines, may be a good solution in specific cases. '' is the decimal version of the '' entity. There are of course other versions, and ways, to force line-breaks *only* when needed. regards Georg -- http://www.gunlaug.no ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d IE7b2 testing hub -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/?page=IE7 List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
