Safari doesn't support overflow on table elements. Nor does Konqueror 3.5. Opera equally lacks support for this. The best implementation of scrollable tables I have seen is this one by Brett Merkey: <http://web.tampabay.rr.com/bmerkey/examples/nonscroll-table- header.html> Degrades well on browsers that don't support overflow on table elements.
