> top: #em; /* move it down below list of DT tabs */ The reason this causes some grief is I don't know how many rows of tabs might exist or maybe I don't want to add padding to the dt elements without recalculating the top offset for the dd elements. There must be some trick like floating all the dt's to the left and all the dd's to the right with some clever clearing or something.
