Hi, I'm new to layouting in css and I am not able to make this layout without tables :( It is in quirk mode. Could anybody point me where should I look to become familiar with such tricks, please? Or how can be this done?
Thanks, Jan <body style="margin: 0px;" scroll="no"> <table width="100%" height="100%" cellspacing="0"> <tr> <td height="90" colspan="2" bgcolor="#FF9966" scope="col">fixed-height heading, 100% width</td> </tr> <tr> <td width="200" rowspan="2" bgcolor="#3399CC" scope="row">remainig height, fixed-width left panel, planing to implement user-resizable as I find somewhere how to do it... (any hints?) </td> <td height="64" bgcolor="#66CC33">fixed-height sub-title, fill remaining width</td> </tr> <tr> <td ><div style="width:100%; height: 100%; overflow: scroll">main scrollable body filling the remaining space</div></td> </tr> <tr> <td height="64" colspan="2" bgcolor="#99CC00" scope="row">fixed-height footer, 100% width</td> </tr> </table> </body> ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d IE7b2 testing hub -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/?page=IE7 List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
