Well, I have no alignment-problems, or left-gaps in IE6, when I add
those changes to a copy of your page.

IE have no idea what a CSS-table is, so it must be given margins and no
paddings.
Other browsers that do understand CSS-table are better off with
paddings, and no margins, on it. Firefox is a bit behind standards, but
should still look the same after these changes are implemented.
