Not just CSS, I think. Some markup might be needed (no, it isn't a joke).
Also, my example is centered on wider windows, while you'll only get to
see the rightmost part of it on narrower windows.

Haven't bothered to fix IE6 for this yet, and I wonder how IE7 will
render it, but I think most other browsers will treat it fine.

Maybe someone care to test it in 'IE7 latest', and let me know what to
make out of that browser's support for min/max..?
