I was hoping someone could tell me why IE5 Mac is displaying table cells
so very weirdly on this site:

http://209.15.116.77/test/home.asp

There are two tables on the site - one for the header stuff (and it's
displaying just fine), the other for the tabular data on the right of
the screen (starting with the heading of "Index Rates"). The one to the
right of the screen is so weird. With some editing, I got the table to
actually appear in the spot it's supposed to, and the captions to move
into place - but the rest of it? It's like every cell below the caption
is placing itself *over* the one before it. So it's not a list of
stuff, it's just words overlapping words. So weird.

Now, this table is also in a format I've never used before - using
captions, th lines and stuff. Usually, I use the bsaci <tr>and <td> and
nothing else - but I guess because of the database system they're using,
it *has* to be in the format it's in now. I've tried using my CSS to
force the rows to separate, but no matter what I try, it doesn't work -
they stay overlapped.

Now, I know IE5 for Mac is a browser that's not all that important. In
all honesty, I *could* just forget it, and the client wouldn't care.
However, I'm so close to getting this site to look right in IE5 Mac that
I just hate to give up at this point - I guess now it's just a personal
challenge for me :) So would anyone know *why* it's doing this? It's
more out of curiosity than anything. I've never seen this happen
before, and it's odd to me.

Thanks!

~Shelly
