Take  a look at Topstyle Pro

you can have a side by side preview in IE and Firefox and see what 
effect different doctypes has; manage a site, look at orphan classes 
etc...

but there's no substitute for multiple displays - editor on one, IE 
and Firefox on screens 2 and 3.
