Same here on Windows XP, Firefox 1.5.0.4.

The line is the top border of this element:
<a href="#narrowparagraph"><img src="images/gifs/transparent.gif" 
alt="Skip Navigation" height="2" width="2"></a>

Firefox doesn't obey set widths on images that don't load. The 
transparent.gif is not present in the given location.
