Indeed. Some of the rendering bugs may have to do with different defaults though. Most of those can't really be called bugs, just differences in what's undefined in the standards, that can be leveled out by complete styling. May be irritating though. >> Op9 final has a number of annoying new User-bugs, and a few new >> rendering bugs. > > > Any clues as to what they are Georg? Noticed some User bugs myself, and most of those are for advanced or "special needs" related to 'User mode'. Opera 9 messes with priorities and what's active. Regarding renderin bugs: there's a bug list for Opera 9 here... <http://www.geocities.com/csssite/opera/bugs.xml> ...and another one here... <http://www.gtalbot.org/BrowserBugsSection/Opera9Bugs/> ...but I haven't studied any of them yet to see what's real and what's not. I have no idea what's in the Opera bug reporting system, since I'm not "connected". I organize my own rendering bug lists - with workarounds, and haven't released any since I don't like to spread reports about bugs and "solutions", that may break in the next version of any of the good browsers. I don't have time to keep such online lists updated. I just hint at weak areas in my own online notes - along with my general impression of a browser - any browser. Have to go through my own preliminary set of corrections for Opera 9's rendering-problems/-changes since preview 1, and see what's stable and what's changed. I'm busy ATM, so it may take days and weeks to nail down the real bugs for Opera 9 final.
