The fix was an unlikely one (at least in my opinion). It involved adding the line left: 50% to the position: absolute statement. (Earlier attempts to change to float: right did put the div back onto the right side of the page in Ff. But in IE it was sent to the bottom and I couldn't find the right combination of margin manipulations to bring it back up!)
But hey, both browsers are now happy and that makes me happy ;) Tnx! -Ian ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d IE7b2 testing hub -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/?page=IE7 List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
