http://sempre-crescendo.nl/v4/image/tid/5 Please take the trouble to work out a problem description when posting to css-d. There is a problem with a floating li getting hooked on a portrait format li-entry of the preceding line. That would be the expected behavior if the floats would have different heights. But you have these inline styles <li style="height : 275px; width : 200px;"> This height is respected by good browsers, causing the content to overflow the box if necessary. The boxes of the li entries still float and wrap in lines of 275px height (+margin). The height of 275px is treated as sort of min-height in IE<7. The floating box expands to fit the content, in your case, the portrait format image + caption. Add overflow:hidden /for a test/ to see how a correct height of 275px would let the boxes flow as intended. The simplest fix should be to adjust the effective height.
