They talk about messing with the server, but you may get away with adding the MIME type command to your .htaccess file. If you don't have such a file in your document root folder, you can create one and upload it. Note the dot BEFORE the rest of the file name.
If that does not work, file a support ticket with your host asking them to add this MIME type definition to the server for you. They will know what to do, especially if you refer them to the MS article. While CSS behaviors are non-standard, in some cases they are necessary to get a once-vibrant browser to cope in its dotage.
