Thanks, Tom. As I said in my first post, I've used some "targeting/hiding from certain browsers" hacks (ie backslashes in selectors) to address the layout in certain browsers. I believe I mentioned that it would not validate.
In fact, the problem occured even before I added these hacks in. I was hoping those might somehow *fix* the Firefox display issue. But no. Ae the hacks supposed to validate? if that is indeed the case, then I have implemented them wrong and I should re-read the source material I used. I read the rules of the board before I posted. I did validate, and I did find errors that were simple mistakes on my part. However, just to be sure, I will remove all of the errors that are found and see what happens then. Unfortunately, I think it will come to nothing. I'll just keep plugging away. Thanks anyway. though for the resource links. -john ----- Original Message ----- From: Tom Keenan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Friday, July 28, 2006 12:04 pm Subject: [css-d] Firefox Mac css layout issue To: [email protected] Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > I'm not going to directly address your question. > > First thing you should do is to validate your CSS and HTML.
