As I said in my first post, I've used some "targeting/hiding from certain 
browsers" hacks (ie 
backslashes in 
selectors) to address the layout in certain browsers. I believe I mentioned 
that it would not 
validate.

In fact, the problem occured even before I added these hacks in. I was hoping 
those might 
somehow *fix* the 
Firefox display issue. But no.

Ae the hacks supposed to validate? if that is indeed the case, then I have 
implemented them 
wrong and I should 
re-read the source material I used.

I read the rules of the board before I posted. I did validate, and I did find 
errors that were 
simple mistakes on 
my part. However, just to be sure, I will remove all of the errors that are 
found and see what 
happens then.

Unfortunately, I think it will come to nothing. I'll just keep plugging away.
