There's no real way to know, as you don't know the visitor's combination of screen resolution, DPI, display size, viewing distance and so forth. The CSS size is only slightly less nebulous. http://lists.css-discuss.org/mailman/private/css-d/2006-January/057975.html discusses what it may remain if unaltered from factory settings, and more.
