Thanks all for checking out my site, particularly ~davidLaakso for the screen captures. That rocks! I'm quite pleased that my site seems to be working correctly in almost everything without having had to test it first. Of course there are a few problems. I have uploaded those screens to my site temporarily and have posted comments under each below so that I can get some feedback if possible.
IE 7 for Windows http://www.themosmillers.org/Andy/temp/grayscreekdesigns/screencapture/I E7-1280x800.png It is hard to tell unless you worked on the site, but I am pretty sure that IE 7 is setting the height of the content to exactly 300px as specified in my IE conditional stylesheet (which of course acts as a min-height for current versions.) Have people figured out how to tackle this looming problem yet for when people start using this browser? -- IE 5.5 for Windows (1280x800) - 5.0 looks the same http://www.themosmillers.org/Andy/temp/grayscreekdesigns/screencapture/I E55-1280x800.png Is this a case of needing to assign a "text-align" value of center on the body, then canceling it out in on the container? -- IE 5.2 for Mac (1280x800) - works fine http://www.themosmillers.org/Andy/temp/grayscreekdesigns/screencapture/I E52-Mac-1280x800.png Just a reference, as I am confused by the next screenshot... -- IE 5.2 for Mac (800x600) - does not http://www.themosmillers.org/Andy/temp/grayscreekdesigns/screencapture/I E52-Mac-800x600.png Why would this break only at 800x600? Does anyone know how to fix this issue, or even know what is happening? Ok, that's it for the screens. I have a couple other questions as well... It has been pointed out that my links don't work if images are off and css on. I thought that users of this variety filled a similar role as the jackalope, unicorn, or esquilax, but if they do exist, I'd like to accommodate. The thing is, how do I do that without compromising the look? I do have the idea to re-post text links down at the bottom above the copyright, which would serve a nice dual purpose. Good enough? I'm also a little confused about the "zoom" setting. I have my text set to 80% to achieve the look that felt right. I know that Opera has a zoom feature, but I don't know how these two are linked. Is there something I need to know to make for easier viewing for Opera users? Alright, that'll do it.
