Heh heh. Those colors practically make my monitor melt down. <g> > I am not good at the technical end, but using display block on the >image selectors, and eliminating top and bottom padding/margin >reduces it to the point where you'll be able to tweak the verticals >too taste. Your layout was too complex for me. What's on my server >is a simple primary content first in source version. I can see that my code is truly baroque and verbose compared to your pared down approach. When I was first learning XHTML and CSS I became somewhat enamored of floats as a layout solution. Of course the problem is that I still don't fully grasp the intricacies of using them, so I'm learning as I go. If I can wrap this up to my satisfaction, then I'll start streamlining my CSS. I am sure that there is plenty that can be trimmed, a lot of unnecessary redundancy. Thanks for your generous help. --Jay ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d IE7b2 testing hub -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/?page=IE7 List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
