Hi Graham. I've been using Smarty for all my websites for the last 3-4 years and I find it extremely useful when a customer asks me to modify a website yars after I've delivered the thing and forgotten about it.
Keeping the code and the template separated does help a lot to reuse stuff. More, you can change the output of a whole website just changing the base template (just like you can change the look-and-feel of it tweaking the external stylesheet). This is something one does not think about often (until the customer pretends it for tomorrow and you're left looking at a 800-page nightmare). djn Graham Anderson wrote: > Essentially, does anyone designing CSS-only sites on this list like > working with Smarty ? > -- Dejan Kozina Dolina 346 (TS) - I-34018 Italy tel./fax: +39 040 228 436 - cell.: +39 348 7355 225 ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d IE7b2 testing hub -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/?page=IE7 List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
