I've been mucking with my code, so sorry do not have clean code to post.

I had applied the usual suspects, display:block, margin: 0, padding 0px, etc...

The images are surround by "a" tags.

Well of course Firefox is fine, its just IE, grrr.

Any thoughts or if someone knows where this is implemented
successfully that I could look at, that would be great.

I made just a page with verical menu with images. It isn't finished yet but it works on IE and FF of course too.
