Actually IE7 has passed the Beta stage and is on Release Candidate version.

Site works fine on my machine Windows XP IE6/7 and Opera
However, it breaks on Firefox with text in dropdowns overlapping the borders

You might want to inform your chum that there are 21 markup errors. (Ouch).
