I have been working on the following site:
http://dev.lilt.ilstu.edu/islq/issues/currentissues.htm. Part of the design
is to have a div within the content area that contains a picture. I have run
into an issue in that the content bleeds over into the padding even though
overflow is set to hidden in the CSS. I checked Firefox, Safari, Opera and
IE. Every single one shows the content bleeding over into the padding. This
looks like a clear violation of the w3c box model yet every browser does it.
Am I misunderstanding the box model? Should content bleed into the padding?
And if not how come every single browser renders it incorrectly, even opera?

Joe
