I regret that the layout is not working as intended in ie either:
<http://www.browsercam.com/public.aspx?proj_id=299392> .
IE is a bear to resolve because 6 and down do not support position: fixed.
Some methods of making it happen are discussed here:
<http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/fixedPosition.html>
<http://tagsoup.com/cookbook/css/fixed/>
<http://www.cssplay.co.uk/layouts/fixed.html>
A suggestion would be to get a simple content free version working
cross-browser first. And the pages on this site may help in that regard:
<http://limpid.nl/lab/css/fixed/header>
However, others on the list may have specific recommendations that will
enable you to fly with what you've got...
Regards,
~dL
