Mark, I don't have time at the moment to look into this, but since you haven't received any responses yet, I wanted to point out that you *can* use Firebug in IE on your own pages, by adding a piece of JavaScript to your page while testing. Read up on it here: http://www.getfirebug.com/lite.html Also, Iyour messages says the bug occurs in IE6, but if I'm correctly interpreting your bug, I'm seeing it in IE7 as well.
