It did, thank you. So did a private suggestion to move div#crumbs out of
div#nav and into the text flow underneath it.

I'm still baffled about why changing the color values (or commenting out
those declarations) made a difference for me during troubleshooting, but
willing to let it go. :)

Thanks also for catching the faulty div closing tags in the footer.
