Hi list, I'm currently converting a site from an old programming platform to something current, and while I'm at it, I'm doing my best to clean up the CSS usage and lack of CSS usage. In theory, I'd like to have no inline style anywhere. But, is this just too idealistic? Some of the quandaries I've come across:
-Input elements, i.e. textboxes - sometimes they'll hold names, sometimes ZIP codes, app-specific numeric data, initials, cods, and other various things that I don't seem to be able to classify. -I actually thought I had some more, but well, I guess not. So, I just ask if anyone has any advice on dealing with input elements without using inline styles, or should I just get over it and go inline? I guess my main thing here is that while I understand the mechanics of CSS and the rules behind it, applying elegantly really seems to be skill that I need to develop. The CSS usage here http://www.kymmeray.com/ray/wheelhorse/ is probably my best implementation of it, but I can find about 100 things that could be cleaned up and done more logically. Thanks, Ray at work ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d IE7 information -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/?page=IE7 List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
