Sorry for the 'repost' but wondering if anyone has a clue as to the
'why' of what's happening with my css menu on IE7 and any suggestions
for a 'what's to do'...

Thanks!
Janice

======================

I am experiencing a *very* odd issue with suckerfish menus in IE7
(and apparently only IE7).

http://averra.com/clientTest2/

(stylesheet embedded with page)

The menus behave just fine when the page is loaded. However, when you
click the background and then hover over the menu items. Then, the
nested list items remain revealed and don't snap back.

I've tracked down the problem to assigning background colors for the
list items

e.g.,

li.managementstrategy {
        background: red;
}

If I remove the background declaration, everything seems to work ok.
However, because this site is styled with themed colors (and, I am
actually using a background image for the menu items), I *must* be
able to assign a background to each top level menu.

Has anyone else encountered this bug? Is there a workaround or cure?

Thanking you in advance for any input.

Cheers!
Janice
