Good evening, I've finally run across a layout that I'm scratching my head over.
It's a standard centered master div containing a header, two columns under that, and a footer. Left column width is set for nav/whatever. Here's the problem... The right column will contain content that's being pulled in from an external source. So, the width is *unknown*. It might be 400px, or it might be 550px, who knows. So the right column needs to be able to: a. stay put where it belongs b. expand/contract at will, depending on content c.and the master container needs to expand/contract as needed towards the right dependent on the width of the right column. Which also means the the header and its contents, plus footer content need to stretch along with it. Ideas? ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d IE7 information -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/?page=IE7 List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
