Hi all, I'm coding this crazy layout with lots of rules dividing up the space, and so far it is coming together pretty well, but I am up against a problem in IE (6+7) that I can't figure out the cause of. Here is the basic page: http://test.hinshawdesign.com/pfg/round2/template_css_v3.1.html
This version looks pretty good in all my test browsers, with the exception of the IEs where the copyright and date are much too far away from the rule that defines the footer above them. But if I put more of less text in the main column, IE really has a hissy fit: http://test.hinshawdesign.com/pfg/round2/template_css_v3.1_long.html More text cause the center column to go right down past the footer border. http://test.hinshawdesign.com/pfg/round2/template_css_v3.1_short.html Less text causes the footer border to jump up into the sidebar. My intuition tells me that it has something to do with the floats above the footer, but I fear I am in a little over my depth. I appreciate any help you fine folks can offer. Thanks!
