Got it! Thanks to your lead, Denis - it wasn't the *body* I needed to set the positioning to. It was the "main" div. Set the relative positioning to that, and removed the margins for the header, and now it's a work of art. (well, to me. I don't know what you all think, but the client likes it ;))
