Kent,

I don't think you need to worry about replacing the
spacer.gifs images when converting to a CSS layout. I
don't know if you used a wysiwyg to create your
current table based layout but, they tend to add
spacer GIFS to keep the table from falling apart and
or to expand a table cell to an exact width when all
else isn't working. I say do your best to replicate
your layout in CSS using divs and any snags you run
into, I'm sure one of us on the list can help.
