There is this article about wmode http://www.communitymx.com/content/article.cfm?cid=E5141 and a thread post by Micky Hulse over at sitepoint sums up the fixes http://tinyurl.com/yk3jdg Doesn't read as if there is a perfect fix, probably removing flash is more appropriate. The topic is not strongly related with CSS, I think.
