Hello, I haven't posted in a long, long while, and I've forgotten some CSS. I need some help with a layout I'm trying to achieve.
I've got a top banner image that has a gradated color from left to right and a drop shadow. I'd like the banner centered at the top (top margin: 0), the color (white) & drop shadow at the left edge to extend to the left edge of the browser window, and the color (green & blue) & drop shadow at the right end to extend to the right edge -- so that the whole top banner extends 100% of the browser window. I have images for both the left edge and the right edge: http://ecologic.taopowered.net/templates/webtest/banner.htm Here's the effect I'm trying to achieve (set up in images and HTML): http://ecologic.taopowered.net/templates/webtest/design4b.htm How do I set this up? I've tried 3 divs -- one for the left edge, one for the banner, and one for the right edge. I've tried 2 divs, one for the logo part of the banner with the left edge as bg, and another for the picture part of the banner with the right edge as bg. Nothing seems to work. Also, even though I have the container div set to 0 for top padding, top margin and position, I still get that default 10 pixels at the top. How do I get rid of that?
