Hey all -
I'm laying out a new site, and was trying to get a handle on positioning.
Here's what I'm playing with:

     http://diamondwphotography.com/NEWSITE/

I started by making a two-column table, to set up my major "areas"
of operation. Then, I wanted to push the logo away from the corner,
so I used absolute positioning. I also used absolute positioning to
push the menu div down below the logo. I wanted to center the image, and
used relative positioning cause it was in the right-hand column.

A couple of problems that I am working with:

a) when I added things to the menu, I was hoping that the gray div
would expand appropriately, but obviously it did not. Basically,
I want the gray div to expand and contract (vertically) to hold
    whatever content I put in.

b) I want my copyright notice to appear at the bottom of the gray
    div, well...

In a past life, I'd just embed tables all over the place to shove
things around. I'm trying to be a little more current than that, and
use positioning. Am I going about this the wrong way? Is there a
(fairly) straightforward fix for my issues as outlined above?

Thanks,
Andy
