Hi all. I only just upgraded to IE 7 for web testing purposes (my
health doesn't let me work with websites often) and I'm noticing a few
issues on one of my sites that I can't seem to figure out.

This page contains both problems: http://www.kipke.com/events.html
CSS: http://www.kipke.com/kipke.css

The biggest issue should be pretty clear upon loading the page. Note
the large chunk of background showing through what should be white
just under the page header and just above the first "Event" item. A
smaller problem can be seen within the "American Pride at Glendale
Elementary School - May 25, 2007" event item. The picture, floated
right, has no padding on the left side between it and the text,
*unless* you resize the text up or down and then back. This
correction shifts back when scrolling anywhere else on the page.

Finally, I am noticing that the right-hand link menu takes up more
vertical space than it does in other browsers. This is acceptable,
but I would like to know why this is happening and how to correct it
just the same.

I'd love to get these fixed, but I'm on a tight leash when it comes to
energy I can devote to research. Any help?

Thanks a bunch.
