If you are asking if there is a way to automatically highlight the current menu item, (so you click on a link, it takes you to the new page, and the link to that page is "you-are-here" highlighted), then our divaGPS is a good way to do this. It comes both as a Standalone script and as Dreamweaver Extension, and works on most any kind of menu.
