Hi Georg-
I can't thank you and everyone who has responded enough for helping me out
with this, in the past two days I have managed to get the layout down, and I
have learned an incredible amount. Now that I know the best places to use
for resources!
I had a question with your your method of image-replacement. (Thanks for
writing that in your email by the way, gave me something to google, and then
of course came across the plethora of pages out there to help explain all
the methods...)

I decided to do it the way you did it, in the cover-up way, as opposed to
text-indent or the others. But in my perusing, I didn't see the
"transparent" anywhere. What does that do specifically?
Also, I had used background-image: url("images/bgscreen.gif"); to set the
background in my nav div, but the background-image: wouldn't work with the
cover-up, I finally figured out I had to take the "-image" out. Maybe this
is something normal that more experienced CSS-ers know, so please share the
wealth!
I am probably going to work on the nav bar tomorrow, so will most likely
have some more questions. I haven't fully deciphered that all yet.
