Subject: [css-d] tiling png ie6

Hi All,

so everywhere i read it tells me that you cannot having tiling background
.png images in IE6. i messed around with this for a while and i ended up
getting it to work and was wondering if this is really possible or if it's
just a fluke. here is a link to the page

http://jpmwebdev.com/beta/png_test/png_test.html

it's working on my machine for IE6 and wanted to know if it would work on
other people's machines. please check it out if you have a minute. maybe
it's common knowledge that this tiling .png backgrounds are possible and i
just don't know it? any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
Jeff

The background image in the page you referenced is a GIF, not a PNG. What's
the question again?

>>everywhere i read it tells me that you cannot having tiling background

Really? Everywhere? Can you cite an example?

Walt
