Er, I clearly didn't read the spec clearly enough. The sentence about it being explicitly undefined is pretty new, though. I suspect it was added because of the borders issue, though, and not because of the issue you raised (and I wonder whether it should be making such a broad statement about things being undefined when much less could be left undefined). After all, Firefox has the same bug with relatively positioned tables, and that's not explicitly undefined in the spec. -David -- L.
