Yeah, I thought it might do that. Here's the thing, though: the folks on the committee want the bottom of the footer lined up with the bottom of the content on longer pages -- like this: http://kenyonbuildout.babywhale.net/visit/subpage.html Knocking out the positioning would align the top of the footer with the bottom of the content, I believe.
