You'll have to do a lot more than that for that page, I think.

...and even if that's about the "worst" that browser can do, even the
slight font-size adjustment imposed by something as low as 'minimum font
size: 14px' in other browsers, is enough to make that page unusable.

You can add...
* html #col3 input {float: left;}
...to make them line up as you want.
