Hi everyone, I have an absolutely positioned h1 tag (with basic image replacement) nested inside a div. IE 5.5 & 6 'clip' the parts of the h1 background image that are outside the parent div and I'm not sure why. It looks like it has all the ingredients for the "Clipping over the edge" section of the famous 'On Having Layout' article except I am not using negative margins opting for top: and bottom: instead. And, adding a dummy div and giving layout as the article suggests does not fix the problem...so, I'm not sure what's going on. Any suggestions are appreciated.
here is an IE 6 screen shot of the offense.... http://carruthersfoundation.com/images/clippage.png Thanks! ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ List policies -- http://css-discuss.org/policies.html Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
