As long as the "leftcol" div is always larger than the "sidebar" div (it is 
as far as I can see), you could give the "leftcol" a white background. and 
the "text" div the green color and it will seem as if the "sidebar" goes all 
the way down to the bottom.
Again, this only works if you know for sure the leftcol is always bigger 
than the sidebar, otherwise you will end up with a green "footer".
