I did a Googling and found this: http://www.tjkdesign.com/articles/how_to_style_thumbnail_and_caption.asp from one of our very own on the list. I had started out with a UL of images and links and it wasn't working especially to achieve the alignment the designers were looking for, so my boss instructed me to revert to tables for that section and which I wasn't crazy about since those images and links aren't tabular data but, based on what I just glanced at, looks like I'll be able to achieve what I'm looking to do, with a DL. Will have to give it a try!
